huggingface-cli login produces no results.

I am trying to log in to HF through git bash with the huggingface-cli login command, but when I enter it, nothing happens at all. I have accepted the terms and conditions of the model card and have a token, but nothing happens when I enter the command.
Please assist.
Yes I'm having the same issue while trying to login from colab
